No "Margin Call" for Carla
I had hoped it was a rumour, but Carla had to let go of "Margin Call" because of "Californication" & "Entourage" scheduling.

That's a bit sad, "Margin Call" has an interesting storyline and a great cast.

To cheer you up, a photo that Adrian Grenier posted at Twitter yesterday, saying "Back in stride Entourage style W/ the fabulous Carla Gugino See what we get into this Sunday 27th @HBO - 10:30p"

It is very a pity to me. I assumed that the reason not the fee which could not be big at an independent film. Only impossibility to combine the incompatible. Success to both projects.

Money was certainly not the reason. Simply the fact that there was no time to fly to New York due to scheduling difficulties with 'Entourage' and 'Californication'. I'm sure Carla is as sad about it as we are :/

Oh no! Figures... she starts doing tv again and it screws with her movie schedule. Sad to see this one go. She might not have had a scene with Spacey or Tucci but I'd have loved to hope for it.

This is life - sometimes you would wish to have a new project, then there are too many to juggle them. And I just read that Mary McDonnell plays in 'Margin Call' as well! What a pity that Carla had to turn the role down... :(
