1996 Spin City
Carla Gugino played Ashley Schaeffer, the girlfriend of Michael J. Fox's character Mike Flaherty, in the comedy "Spin City" in 1996.

Connie Britton, who presented a Special Achievement Award in Entertainment at the NIAF Gala to Carla last weekend, was part of the "Spin City" cast as well. Later she starred besides Carla in The Life Coach and will soon be seen as Doris in "Women in Trouble".

I've only a few pictures of the series Spin City, here they are - enjoy!

Call me crazy but I really do prefer her with dark hair. Thanks for sharing these. :D

You're not crazy. I feel the same way. Carla always looks great to me but I prefer her with that dark raven hair that shows off her Italian beauty. I know she dyes her hair for film roles & maybe even gets bored with her look (what woman doesn't?) but I think women almost always look better with their natural hair color.

Being one of the rare women who doesn't need to change my hair color (just the style every now and then) I have never understood the need some have to constantly change the color. But then I've always liked my natural hair color. LOL

That I just posted a trailer for a movie in which Carla has blonde hair is - I swear - a total coincidence!

I think I like dark, long hair in general. But it's nice to have a change from time to time. It don't have to be blonde to black! But a touch of a different colour is sometimes nice. Do you really never dye your hair?
Snarctastic & Brutally Honest: WH13:MykaSmilesunkrux on October 28th, 2009 05:30 pm (UTC)
I've changed the color by using stuff here in the states called "Sun In" but on hair as dark as mine it turned it kinda orange, rather than reddish which at the time I was going for.

Mostly I just cover up the grey hairs using a dye that is similar to my natural color. I have very dark brown hair and have always liked it.

Color change just isn't my thing. Changing the hair cut/style is more mine.

Orange! *ouch* But it was for sure a unique colour! ;)

I do have a red touch in my hair colour atm, but like you I have dark brown hair and I'm actually fine with it. My hair dresser is more experimental than me, she often suggests something and since she has a good taste I usually agree to it :). Two years ago I had blonde highlights, wasn't bad either! But it means you have to bleach the hair and it needs a long time (I've very long hair), to get rid of it again.

Also bleaching your hair can do serious damage to it if you do it too often. Another dark haired actress I love, Sela Ward, went blonde years ago for a movie and it fried her hair. Ruined it for a long time from what she said. Which is why I doubt I'll ever go blonde.

She is absolutely ADORABLE in these pics. But, to be honest? She gets sexier with age.

Lucky woman. ;-)
